Monday evenings 5:30 or 6:30 (September 24 – November 19)

Duluth Adult Participants:
Must attend Saturday lectures in the Twin Cities listed above.

FALL TWIN CITIES METRO AND DULUTH FALL SESSION Orton-Gillingham Teacher Courses and Student Tutoring
Orton-Gillingham Introductory Course: The participants will learn strategies to teach beginning reading including phonemic awareness, phonics, and spelling using a multisensory, structured, systematic and cumulative approach plus how to use error analysis to drive instruction. The participant will create lesson plans and work with students in a supervised practicum setting. Course materials are included. Early registration fee is $1,000.00, registration after August 31st will be $1,100.00. Student Tutoring Sessions are usually appropriate for students in grades 2-4. Students attend 9 days of class. Limited need-based scholarships are available for students. Please email registrar@ogmn.org for access to scholarship application.
TWIN CITIES METRO O-G Introductory Course

EXTENDED PRACTICUM
Extended Practicum: Upon successful completion of the Intermediate Course and Practicum, a teacher is eligible to enroll in the Extended Practicum where they will be assigned an individual instructor/mentor with whom to work. The assigned instructor will observe the teacher as they teach a student for a minimum of three sessions. During the Extended Practicum, the teacher will need to take an assessment to ensure that he/she is prepared to enroll into OGMN’s final course. Registration fee is $1,000.00. Materials included.
