Fall Session Registration Now Open

FALL SESSION/TWIN CITIES LOCATION
Orton-Gillingham Introductory Course: The participants will learn strategies to teach beginning reading including phonemic awareness, phonics, and spelling using a multisensory, structured, systematic and cumulative approach plus how to use error analysis to drive instruction. The participants will create lesson plans and work with students in a supervised practicum setting. All course materials are included. Student Tutoring usually appropriate for students in grades 1-4. Students attend 9 days of class. Limited need-based scholarships are available for adults and children. Please email registrar@ogmn.org for access to scholarship application.

Orton Gillingham of Minnesota (OGMN) provides teachers, tutors and parents with quality training and practicum supervision in the Orton-Gillingham Approach to teaching reading, spelling and writing. Classes are offered by professionals who have been training in the Twin Cities area for over two decades. OGMN also provides information about dyslexia and learning disabilities as well as referrals to practitioners trained in the Orton-Gillingham Approach.
